Shocking as strategy of battle with swedish society

Tomasz Adamski in his article analyzes newest swedish film production as manners of criticism of swedish society. At the beginning he describes features characterizing modern Sweden like: economic equality, high taxes, wealth or moral freedom. Then he analyzes films of Ingmar Bergman and Vilgot Sjoman and writes that both directors criticize official institutions which should take care of young people but they do not do it any more. Then he analyzes a few films of Lukas Moodysson. He also notices, that it is used children’s heroes in modern swedish movies for social criticism and directors portray them in completely exceptional manner. Very often directors uses also image of immigrant or image of other to show swedish society from outside, what gives completely new and exceptional image.
